The Paper Flower series is made from structured paper and plaster. Shapes and colours are inspired by several foreign plant and flower species. For each design, research is needed in order to create the shapes and colour palette.
The designs from the Paper Flower series are custom made. Interested in a custom made piece? Please feel free to get in touch.

Together with Ingrid from Let's Talk Evergreen, JULY® created a styling concept to combine ceramic design with lifestyle photography. By using a human in the scenes, the setting becomes more 'alive' and it visualizes the proportions of the handmade JULY® ceramics.
About the Ceramic Design | Earth The Earth Collection is designed with a robust, organic touch and has some Japanese influences. This design is inspired by old techniques. The dark brown clay brings us back to the time when people had no glaze and used a special technique to ‘close’ the clay. That same technique is used for this collection. The shape of the bowls are inspired by Japanese designs. The combination of the technique, shape and glaze makes this design one of a kind.
Stone The Stone collection is designed with a hint of elegance and a classic twist. This design is inspired by grey coloured riverstones. The possibilities in details and finishes of stoneware clay are coming together in this design. The matte outside feels soft and at the same time strong while the inside feels smooth, with a transparant elegant glossy finish. The difference in those two finishes makes the design well overthought in each detail.

Second Skin collection
The Second Skin Collection is a series of exclusive interior design products, which came into being through an experiment in 2014. The experiment was focussed on the creation of new pieces based upon old decorative products such as vases and bowls. During this trail, fragile materials (mostly plaster) were used to reform shapes. Some objects kept their basic features while others served as a skeleton for something new. Upcycling these antiquated interior objects turned out to be a big hit and has led to the establishment of the Second Skin Collection, in which each and every product is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
Material and Function Second Skin Collection products are designed with a plaster-cotton paste. After a shape has been determined, all products are carefully treated with a protective coating on the inside and outside, to prevent moist and dust damage. Colour is added during this coating phase. Up to now, the collection is available in seven colours. Second Skin creations can be used as decoration by themselves or as a container for dry products (e.g.: uncut fruit, dried flowers).

For this nice children's accessories brand, JULY® was asked to do the photography for their new clothing collection 'Antarctica'.
These paper vases were designed for a free work project. The vases are handmade from recycled newspapers and a metal wire frame. The skeleton of the objects creates the special cubistic forms.
JULY® can design custom made products for shop windows, private interiors and (styling) productions.
In 2012, July Adrichem presented this graduation project at the Artemis Academy Amsterdam. She created a concept for a non-profit organisation. In this campaign, special blankets were designed (with the idea that a percentage of each sale going to charity). Red Cross was chosen and each blanket was designed according to the symbols and values associated with the organisation; embrace, connect and protect. Naturally, the blankets are handmade and designed for different target groups, using different techniques, materials and styles.
